Antique 1860's child's gown hand made white cotton, cut out lace trim, micro cartridge pleating, Very good condition

Antique 1840's child's gown hand made white cotton feaaturing cut work lace trim. Would have been worn by a boy or girl in this time period. There is extensive teeny cartridge pleating on the neck and waist. Just an exquisite rare piece in Very good condition. I have soaked and cleaned it but there are still some pale brown spots and one tiny hole in the body of dress and one where the cut out lace is on the sleeve that I am going to repair but both are shown in photos. Chest 24", empire waist 18-22' length 21".

This came out of an estate on Martha's Vineyard which had pieces going back to 1810! I have more that I am listing some of which were made in France for the US so please see all of my listings if you are looking for a truly special rare baby gown. Cross listing.
