19th Century Set of 8 Japanese KO-IMARI NISHIKI Multi-colored lidded rice bowls hand painted red green gold blue, Excellent condition with one lid missing. Bird medallions on two sides and flowers on the other. Used for serving warm dishes like fried shrimp over rice. The Outer mark reads Fuki(Noble Wealth),Chosen(long life; literally long lasting spring). Inner mark read ju/kotobuki (congratulations, felicitations, and can also mean longevity). These are in amazing condition for over 100 years old.

Excellent condition on all with one lid missing. Will be packed very carefully and fully insured.
