Perfume set very RARE 1920's Egyptian Ahmed Soliman 3 bottles in original box. Two of the bottles are partially full of oil shown in the photos. One bottle says Lotus Flower. I don't know what the other scents were. The bottles emit the scents that are in them and it is beautiful. The perfume oil is in glass bottles, one of which has the glass stopper in it and the other two were corked and covered in fabric. The glass bottles are inserted into wooden vessels that sit into the case. The word Shalimar is hand written on the bottom of the wooden bottle. The wooden bottles are 5" tall. The box is 8" by 6". There is a small bit of damage on the inside of the box on one corner. These scents are still considered of the best in the world. Please see all of the photos for full description and ask any questions!

Ahmed Soliman El Mowardi (1906-1956) was apprenticed in 1919 to a small perfume shop called “Khan Abu Takia” (The Shop of the Man with thin Skullcap) to learn the ancient technique of blending scents without the use of Alcohol. In 1925 he established a laboratory among the many perfume Shops in Khan El Khalili bazaar [and] in 1928 he moved into premises vacated by a century old perfumery and believing that providence had blessed him with the name of history’s great patron of fragrance ‘King Solomon’ he called himself “Ahmed Soliman Cairo’s Perfume King”.
