Teacups set of 7 plus 2 x 7 1/4" dessert plates 1800's Old Paris Porcelain white gold band, Vieux Paris, French Tea party table, wedding place settings. There is to be expected from age light wear to the gold bands but no cracks, chips. crazing so in very good condition. I have more photos if you want any please ask as we can only upload 10 here.
Old Paris porcelain or as the French say Vieux Paris was produced from the late 1700’s to 1870’s. In the later time it was often referred to as “Paste” porcelain. It was highly desirable and made by many factories in Paris to compete with Limoges and Sevres. All hand decorated many artisans used Blanks made by other companies and only did the decorating. Most of these pieces were not signed. It was very exported to the US in large quantities and is very popular in the South. Lovely, graceful, highly decorated style for your home or collection.

Most of my items come out of estates on Martha's Vineyard and some from other places in New England.
