Superb Antique 1860's Rose Medallion large and heavy 13" lidded Tureen in excellent condition, hand painted, serving ware, soup tureen, casserole dish. This dish is footed and double handled. As per the 1860's time period there are no maker marks. There is light wear to the glazes and one very tiny glaze chip on the red rim otherwise no chips, cracks or crazing! The images are of insects, butterflies, people and flowers within paneled borders.
